Currently, Thankful, & A Freebie

What a beautiful Saturday it is here in Georgia!  I hope your weekend is looking great as well.

Somehow I completely missed Currently for October...

I don't want to miss it for November!!!

Here's what it looks like:

Being a middle school teacher, music in the classroom can be tricky!  I've found that my students enjoy panpipe music which is very calming.  They also like groups such as 2 Cellos and Trans-Siberian Orchestra who play rock songs on classical instruments, usually as instrumentals.

I play a current song during Warm-Up time each day as students enter my room, get unpacked, and complete their daily Warm-Up.  This has always been a big hit, but it does take a little extra time to make sure the song is safe.  That means no bad language or references to inappropriate things.  Yes, with today's music, it can be difficult sometimes!

These are often a good place to start.  You can narrow down your choices from there.

Head over to Farley's blog, Oh' Boy 4th  Grade, to see what's up with lots of other bloggers and maybe even link up yourself.

I'm also linking up with a new-to-me blogger, Stories by Storie, for her Top 10 Things I'm Thankful For post.  While I am thankful for so many things in my life, these were the Top 10 on my mind today!

For those of you who stuck around and scrolled all the way to the bottom, I've got a FREEBIE for you today!

Click on the image below to go to my TPT Store and download this set of digital papers in fall colors.

Enjoy :)
