Around the World Wednesday ~ Middle School Postcard Exchange

I've been mission Around the World Wednesday lately!  I'll be glad when school starts back so I'll have some more Social Studies stuff to share.  {Did I really just say that?!?}

Anyway...

I'm putting out the information for the wonderful, fabulous, don't-miss-out 2012 - 2013 Middle School Postcard Exchange again.

We've got some great teachers lined up and ready to go, but we're only about 1/5 of the way there.

We need to spread the word and find a participating teacher from each state and several foreign countries.

It won't be very difficult or time-consuming to join in.

The 2 biggies are that you MUST have a blog or wiki, etc., so that you can link up with us and share your fun...AND...you realize there will be a little expense involved to purchase the postcards and the postage.  Other than those 2 things, no problem!

So here's our cute little button and the rules that are set up so far.  You can click on either image to view and/or download the rules from Google Docs.

If you'd like to join in, send me an e-mail at mlundy5@gmail.com including your name, grade, and state.  Also, please include a link to your blog or wiki just to make sure everyone who is signing up has one.

We would LOVE to have you take part with us!!!

If you are not interested or your state is already taken, please pass along this information on your blog, FB, Twitter, word-of-mouth...whatever...to other middle school teachers you know!

I really, really, REALLY want to have this all in place by the end of the month - which is quickly approaching.

Here is the list of states/countries/continents as they stand at about midnight Tuesday.  If your state is grayed out, it's already taken.  If you state is still 'lit up,' it's available for you!

{oops...where'd my line go}

I'll be sitting by my e-mail all day just waiting to hear from you!

Enjoy :)

Making It {and smiling},
