This week's Challenge for The Clutter-Free Classroom Project was all about storage containers {sadly, a subject near and dear to my heart!}.
If you are in need of a serious classroom de-clutter-fication {yeah I just made that up}, then I highly suggest you check out this awesome Project and join in the fun!
So here is the prompt for this week:
PROMPT(s):
SHARE YOUR FAVORITE CLASSROOM STORAGE CONTAINER. EXPLAIN WHY YOU LIKE IT AND WHAT YOU USE IT FOR.
This is my absolute favorite storage container...ever!!! I ordered it from Really Good Stuff a few years ago and have loved it ever since. I noticed that it now costs about $40 more than when I bought mine, so it's pretty expensive...unfortunately!
I keep this little piece of Heaven behind my desk and use it to store colored paper. I don't use this for the colored paper {copy, card stock, or construction} my students use. That stuff is stored elsewhere in my classroom to allow for easy access by my students.
In this, I put all the colored paper that I use to create little signs, instructions for centers and stations, etc., that my OCD brain likes to make.
And, of course, it's color-coded to match the drawer color as much as possible! I put regular colored paper in the top set of drawers and colored card stock in the bottom set of drawers.
When I need to throw a sheet in the printer, it's right in reach!!! :)
Making It {and smiling},
~Michelle
